Authors Anne Nordhaus-Bike and Charlene Wexler drew an enthusiastic crowd to Woman Made Gallery in Chicago yesterday for their book signing and reading.

Wexler spoke about both her books, Murder on Skid Row and Milk & Oranges, including what inspired her to write each of them. Nordhaus-Bike talked about writing her book, Follow the Sun: A Simple Way to Use Astrology for Living in Harmony, to give everyone an easy way to make astrology a useful and inspiring part of their lives. She also noted the Sun’s entry into the earth sign Taurus just days earlier and honored Earth Day by reading from the chapter about Taurus.
Afterward, both writers fielded lively questions from attendees about tips for aspiring writers, current publishing and book technology, how to make the most of astrology, and opportunities during the current “time of Taurus” as the Sun makes its way through this earth sign.
